The SABDES 30m (98'5") Explorer Yacht design is a luxuriously rugged and serious world explorer Motoryacht that is second to none in it's seakeeping abilities, can be easily handled by it's owners alone, and it's inherent attributes make the yacht extremely efficient and safe as possible without needing to be technically complicated.
The design seeks out a zen like philosophy of what it means to be a luxury explorer 'go-anywhere and anytime' motoryacht; bringing together only essential elements to achieve its purpose.
Based around a Sailboat hullform and using a hybrid drive system the SABDES 30m Explorer can zero-emission cruise in environmentally sensitive regions running on batteries alone. For long distance passages two small sails help to further reduce fuel consumption of the main diesel engines.
The design can be constructed in either Composite or Aluminium, the latter having a natural resistance to corrosion meaning the yacht could even be left unpainted. The design is self-righting and can be beached owing to it's shallow draft and twin skegs.
